Current fundraising goals
DID YOU KNOW? Tavistock Public School’s playground is over 40 years old!
We are currently fundraising for a new playground - with a goal of $130,000 to fund the entire project.
These dollars are budgeted for a wide range of renovations that support play, therapy, and learning for our students. Our plans include:
-
Complete tear down of existing play structure
-
Building of a traditional play structure that includes several accessible elements such as play panels, buddy bus and low level upper body pieces
-
A wheelchair accessible ramp to areas of play to allow for parallel play
-
Several play pieces including flower power rings, plastic slide, spider web and crawl tubes.
New primary playground
The Tavistock Home and School Association is committed to raising enough funds to build a new playground that is SAFE, ACCESSIBLE and FUN for our students and community. The images below highlight the current structure, and showcase the plans for the future design. It is going to take the collective efforts of our school and community members to make this goal happen!
